Kouji Kameya was born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1975. Since Kameya graduated from the major of Japanese-style paintings in Aichi Prefectural University of Art, he has vigorously had solo exhibitions in Nagoya as the based place every year. Kameya draws a motive with Japanese pigment on a wooden panel, and to cover it with silk cloth. Then, he paints some on the surface, again. The process makes a tender impression on the painting. The motive is a body of human. Kameya composes to emphasize the motions of neck, arms and eyes. Meanwhile, he captures distinct beautiful aspects of women.
